The Context
The capability was broad. The proposition needed to become clear.
The business brought together in-store music, voice-overs, digital signage, scent marketing and other retail technologies through a network of more than 11 partner products and services.
The Challenge
The visible brief was only part of the business story.
A clearer way to market a large portfolio of retail technology solutions.
How the solutions worked together, why retailers should care and how sales could communicate one coherent value proposition.
Our Approach
We built one organising idea around the entire portfolio.
The work created C.O.R.E.—Connected Omni-Channel Retail Experience—and repositioned the portfolio as a Purpose-Built Retail Ecosystem supported by a unified message, brand and digital experience.
Key Findings
Complexity was making capability harder to understand and sell.
- Individual products did not naturally communicate the value of the full ecosystem.
- Phygital and omni-channel language created confusion without a clear organising idea.
- Sales, brand and website communication needed one shared proposition.
The Architecture
The work connected the decisions that shaped what came next.
